Update

Anaiya just turned 19 months old earlier last week.  We had her doctor's check up a couple of weeks ago.  Anaiya is currently 33 inches tall (79% percentile) and 23 pounds (27% percentile).  She had to get few more shots at this appointment, but the good thing is, that she is done with shots for a few years.

It seems every new phase we hit with her seems to be my favorite, but I do have to say right now is one of my favorites.  She is talking so much these days which makes the days so much more entertaining.  Amit and I definitely do have to watch what we say in front of her because you never know when she'll decide to try and repeat you!  She says probably close to 30 words and even a few phrases like "Bye, see you later", "Where did it go?", and "Go get it".

Her favorite things to do these days are coloring, reading her books (her love for books is amazing), and playing on the Ipad (which we don't let her do too often).  She's pretty good about only coloring on her paper, but there was one day when I was in the bathroom getting ready and Amit fell asleep on the couch in her playroom, when Anaiya decided to take her crayons to our walls and couch.  Luckily, they are washable crayons so it all came out.  But since then, we haven't had any more coloring fiascoes!
Her swimming classes are going great.  She's in the intermediate level, but hopefully, with a few more classes, she'll be moving up to the advanced level.  She's having so much fun in the class - it's clearly evident by her shrieks!

Below are a couple of pictures of Anaiya with her all of hair bows in her hair.  Our nanny, Naveen, was having some fun with her especially since Anaiya won't leave anything in her hair (hair bows, hair pins, pigtails, etc.) for more than 5 minutes.  The moments she runs her fingers through her hair, she'll pull out whatever is in her hair.
