A Visit to the Children's Museum

In the last few months, Anaiya has really gotten into playing pretend with her toys like pretending she's going grocery shopping with her little shopping cart or eating a fake banana as if it was real.  So we decided to take her to a children's museum near our house where they have setup different areas for a fake library, grocery store, vegetable garden, etc.

Here's Anaiya looking at books in the library.  They had tons of Dr. Seuss books -quite a few of which we already have at home.  She didn't want to read any of the new books, so we read the same books as if we were home!
After the library, we went to play in the garden where Anaiya pretended to pick her veggies and fruit,  We have a basket of pretend fruit and veggies at home, so she's able to recognize and tell us what they are.
After playing in the garden, it was time to head to the pretend house and have a snack.  Anaiya loves her eggs!
We stopped in the doctor's office, but Anaiya was only interested in doing the puzzles.  She is obsessed with puzzles these days.  She'll do the same puzzle over and over again at home and never get bored of it.
After puzzles, it was off to do some arts and craft.  It was playing with some stamps and coloring mainly.  We decided to stay away from the finger painting since Anaiya has never done it before.
All in all, it was a great way to spend the morning!
