Anaiya's Sesame Street Party

The weekend of Anaiya's birthday party, my family (Lina, Ryan, Himani, Eliana, Shriti and Dhaval) came into town to celebrate Anaiya's birthday and also to finally meet Maliya.  We had a great time catching up for a few days.

Since Anaiya loves Elmo these days and pretty much knows all of the Sesame Street characters because of all the books we read, I decided to throw her a Sesame Street themed birthday party.

I made her Elmo cake (just like I made her a Care Bear cake for her 1st birthday party).
This was the party favor table (goodies for all the kids):

This was the snack and cake table.  I made popcorn containers with Elmo's face on it as well as goldfish holder (Elmo had a goldfish named Dororthy):
Eliana playing with the Sesame Street blocks that I had made:
Some family pictures from the party:

Anaiya chowing down her her popocorn.  I can't even tell you much she had at the party.  It seemed like every time I turned around, she had another cup of popcorn or goldfish in her hands:
Maliya was at the party, but we tried keeping her away from everyone for the most part since she was only a month old.   Here are the only two pictures of her from the party:

After the party, I finally managed to get a picture of the Anaiya and Maliya together:
