Maliya's 2 Month Old Pics

Where has the time gone!?!  Maliya officially turned 3 months old last Thursday.  These last few months have gone by so fast.  This time around was very much a different experience than when Anaiya was born.  Amit and I both have worked non-stop for the past 3 months unlike with Anaiya when we both had some time off from work.  Let's just say 2 working parents, a 2 year old, and a newborn wasn't easy but we survived!

Maliya is doing great.  At her 10 week appointment (a couple of weeks ago), she weighed 10 lbs., 3 oz., and was 23.5 inches in length.  She's definitely more alert these days.  She is sleeping 11 to 12 hours a night now (most night at least) which has been great for Amit and I.  It doesn't necessarily mean that we are getting a lot of sleep still because we are up late working, but it still helps that she is going to bed around 7:30pm every night.

Maliya's face just lights up when she sees me or hears my voice.  It's such a great feeling, I must say!  She's definitely a momma's girl which I love (who wouldn't, right?).  Anaiya has been amazing through this transition.  She's such a huge help when it comes to Maliya.  She makes sure Maliya has her pacifier if she starts fussing and  shows her pictures and videos of the two of them on our phone.  It is very sweet to see how she dotes on her little sister. I also see how Maliya's face lights up when she sees Anaiya or hears Anaiya's voice.  It's going to be fun watching these two grow up together.  At least I know Anaiya will be setting a good example for her little sister (well, for the most part).

Even though Maliya is 3 months old now, below are the 2 month old pictures I had taken for Maliya. As I'm sure you remember, I took Anaiya to the kiddie studio once a month for the 1st year for monthly pictures.  I'm doing the same for Maliya. I am determined to do all of the same things for Maliya that I did for Anaiya!!  I'll have the 3 month old pictures of Maliya in a few weeks, if not at the beginning of 2013 for you to see!
