For the past month, Anaiya has become more and more interested in what we've been eating - a telling sign that she was getting ready to eat real food herself. This past Sunday, we gave her rice cereal for the first time. I think more of it ended up on her face or on her bib than it did in her mouth! But even so, it was a fun experience for all of us!
It is amazing to see how quickly Anaiya got the hang of eating. Since Sunday, we've gone from soupy rice cereal to a thicker version of it and 99% of it is going into her mouth. She definitely couldn't get enough of it which I hope is a sign that's she is going to be good eater. I'm keeping my fingers crossed!
