Merry Christmas!!

We hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas/holiday with their families.  Amit and I had a great Christmas at home with the girls.  We decided to stay put this year and not travel because Maliya is still quite young.  It worked out because both Amit and I had to work over the holidays.

If you asked Anaiya what she wanted Santa to bring her for Christmas, her response was "Cake (she means pancakes), pizza, milk and presents".  I have no idea how she came up with that response, but that's what she said (in that exact order) every time.  So in order to make sure Santa came through, we had pancakes for lunch and homemade pizza for dinner on Christmas Day.

On Christmas Eve, we put out the cookies and milk with a note from Anaiya for Santa.  She even managed to sneak a bit of the cookie.

Afterwards, Amit and I put all the presents under the tree after the girls went to bed.

When we brought the girls down in the morning, it was so much fun to see Anaiya's face when she saw all of the presents under the tree.  You could tell she was trying to figure out how they got there! Anaiya had so much fun opening all of the presents including Maliya's.  She even got a little upset when there nothing left to open and was asking for more presents!  

 

 

 

 Lucky for Anaiya, Maliya slept through most of the gift opening so she had no idea that her big sister was opening all of her presents!

We did get some pictures of Maliya with all of her presents after she woke up though.  I don't think could be any more happier about her goodies!

Anaiya was pretty pleased with all of her gifts, too.

We started skyping with the family in England afterwards, and during the calls, Anaiya laid down on Amit and went to sleep.  Pretty safe to say that all of the Christmas excitement tired her out!
