New York, New York

Amit, Anaiya and I went to New York this weekend to visit Rishi, Jyoti, Saajan and Saiya.  Anaiya had such a great time playing with Saajan and Saiya.  

If you thought Anaiya was a happy baby, wait until you see Saiya ... her default look is a smile.  While many people think Anaiya looks like me and Saiya looks like Jyoti, there's a clear resemblance between Anaiya and Saiya. 

Some of our friends also came to visit us while we were hanging out in Central Park.  Seetal, a good friend of Amit's from KC, hadn't seen Anaiya yet, so it was great to see them play together. 

And Anaiya loved hanging with her Jyoti Kaki.

We went to Central Park on Saturday and had a picnic with the family.  Anaiya and Saiya had a blast being outdoors (although most of the time they just stared at each other).

Sonal stopped by the park to meet Anaiya (see the "LL Cool Yaj" post). 

Of course, Anaiya is still mommy's girl.

Rishi had Anaiya cracking up all weekend.  We'll post some videos soon as proof, but you can see that she enjoyed her time with him.

Samir, Pratik and Amy also came by the park, and it was great catching-up with them.

 We spend a good chunk of the day in the park, so Amit got some quality time with Anaiya as well.

And throughout the weekend, Anaiya played with Saajan, who has a level of energy that can't be matched.  He was so good with Anaiya, playing with her and talking in a sweet voice to his baby cousin.  But it looks like Anaiya and Saiya were even a bit much for him!
