Summertime

A few weeks ago, I bought Anaiya a mat that shoots water out of it (like sprinklers).  It took her a couple of times to get used to the water shooting up all around her.  The funny part would be when she would start crawling around and the water would spray her face.  I can't say that she was very happy when that happened (but it was still funny to see her facial expressions)!

We also bought Anaiya a baby pool for our backyard.  She absolutely loves hanging out in it with some of her toys.  An interesting thing to see is that she will crawl around in it, and sometimes will land face first into the water (don't worry, someone is always outside watching her).  I totally expect her to cry, but she instinctively knows to get herself back into a sitting position.  She coughs a little because she swallows water, but she never cries (this has only happened like 10 times and she never sheds a tear).
