Amit, Anaiya, and I stayed home for Thanksgiving since Anaiya was too young to travel. Luckily, all of my family flew out to celebrate the holiday with us. Anaiya finally got a chance to meet Shriti masi (my younger sister), Ryan masa (my brother-in-law), and Himani (her cousin). We had a fantastic time hanging out with everyone. Himani was absolutely in love with her baby cousin, as she was constantly giving Anaiya kisses and wanting to hold her. It was very cute to see the cousins together. It was a good test for how Himani is going to react to her new sister (since Lina is pregnant). There is a concern that Himani will suffocate her with love, but you can tell she'll be a caring older sister.
Lina masi had a great idea of dressing Himani and Anaiya in matching outfits. It wasn’t easy as we thought it would be to find outfits for a 2-1/2 year old and a 7 week old, but we managed to find cute dresses for them.
